Currently it's hit or miss with the notification light. Sometimes it blinks and lets me know I have a notification and sometimes it doesn't. More so on the not notifying me train

And you're positive that the screen turning on didn't deactivate the light?

I just mean that sometimes it lights up and then I know to look at my phone and sometimes I go to my phone and see I got a text 20 mins ago and the thing never blinks, even before I turn it on.

i'd love to see the Beautiful Widgets 4x2 SuperClock on that ICS G-Nex. can you post a screenshot? if you don't have the app already it's only 10 cents in the market today.

If this is true, then this just sealed the deal. This is the second biggest concern for me (over getting a decent signal), so if I can get wifi right out of the box, then it's done.

Not to be a party pooper... but they probably don't have it blocked so people can test the functionality openly without actually having the service on their account. Once it releases... maybe they'll have a temporary period like they did with the Tbolt but I doubt it.

Thanks Dub! which clock widget are you going to roll with? i love the HTC widget and am anticipating getting the G-Nex and will need a replacement. i'm torn between Beautiful Widgets or Fancy Widgets or maybe another one.

You don't need to root to use wifi.

stock gnex clock on home screen is the one you have seen...analogue and boring so yes you will need one unless you like that sort of thing. i'm going with beautiful per sfbates recommendation but i'll check out fancy now
