Interesting and thanks for the heads up! All the articles I've read said you could stream Spotify from the watch. I guess that makes it not a good choice for me unless it becomes available.
Me too. I have the S2 Classic BT version and loved it. I'm interested to see how this works. I just bought it yesterday and I'm still trying to figure it out. I can't find an online manual, I know there is one but can't find it.
I am wanting to get the S3 Frontier LTE through ATT. I want to use it as a standalone device with the numbersync option from ATT. All I want to do is use it for running (GPS) and to be able to stream Spotify without my phone.
I have an iPhone and that won't change. ATT had one the other day but couldn't tell me if I could set it up without an android phone. I have the beta Samsung Gear Manager app for iOS but they didn't have a floor model to try. Can anyone give me advice on this please?
Has anyone bought a good screen protector for this watch?
I have that screen protector and it's too small and it also makes the screen look cloudy in my opinion.
Thanks for the heads-up. I don't have my Gear S3 or the screen protectors yet. I saw these on Amazon and took a chance on them. Wanted to have them before the S3 arrived.![]()
Some people need screen protectors for their watch faces because of the adverse conditions one may work in such as places where sand or dirt exposure is common which when wiped away could scratch the screen, tight locations where inadvertent contact with walls or other surface with the arm could cause surface contact to the watch causing scratches, broken watch bands from accidental snag forces causing the watch to break off the arm and the face hitting a surface like concrete, increasing the chance a scratch may happen. Those are a couple reasons. Not all of us work in an air conditioned office where the biggest hazard is getting a paper cut or spilling a hot cup of coffee in the lap.
Tizen blows Android Wear out of the water. I own a Moto v2 and Huawei Watch.
If you got the Gear S3 Frontier LTE version the answer to your question is yes. You will be able to make and receive phone calls and receive and send text messages without having your phone with you. Hope this helps.
how bout a picture of your arm, up close and from a distance?
