Got rid of annoying Bixby

Bixby just doesn't matter - it's just spam Spyware bloat that tech enthusiasts will swear by like Amazon Echo, Google "assistant" , 411, and cheeseburgers with no cheese
I get you feel that way but AI assistants are here to stay. They aren't just going to discard them.

Fine but Bixby is too aggressive - none of these "assistants" should be forced, should be allowed to remove.

We getting closer and closer (if we not already there) with iRobot , etc. Way too much tech - the machines have taken over - if any of us are alive then - it will be funny all the "tin foil" hat jokes - won't be so funny when a robot snaps your neck and kills your family lol

Bixby is also in it's first iteration. Samsung is still taking in the feedback from first time users and hopefully future updates will over time, improve the service.

Well technically they aren't forced. You have to agree to the terms and agree to turn them on. If you don't (as you said you didn't) then it doesn't function... So it is doing exactly what you said you want it to do ;).

I finally turned off Bixby voice. Every time someone calls and I don't answer the phone, it answers the call. Letting the person on the other end hear my conservation. I was just having a discussion with my husband when I looked at my phone and it was opened and my friend yelling and screaming that my phone is on for over 3 minutes. It happened several times, to the point where I have been eyeing the phone every time it rings to make sure the phone is turned off. Or I have to stay very quiet for Bixby not to wake up. If the TV is on too loud Bixby wakes up. If there is a party around Bixby wakes up. I am done, I turned the voice off. Hopefully it won't happen again.

Bixby is always spying and saving audio data - it's in the TOC

I'm reading all these problems with Bixby turning on & taking over your phone, making phone calls, taking you to sites and wanting to take your pictures & show you where to buy stuff...... I've had none of that happen.
There are instructions on how to use Bixby, and they actually work when followed.
Samsung has every right to have a "Bixby" button on it's phone and you have every right NOT to buy a phone with Bixby on it.
