@Craptorman I heard from someone on Apelation Wireless that their xt908 had received an update to allow it to use 4g when their service went 4g. Since Element is activating 4g in a few months I'm anticipating the possibility of the same update allowing 4g here. Would this mod of CM for Element work with 4g if my phone has the patch? Or am I not understanding that entire process.

My carrier will so be doing the same 4g update in the next few months I believe. Might have to make a few changes but I'm guessing it will work.
So we gotta patch our carrier info on every nightly then? Is there an easy way to do this?

Pretty much. It would be one thing if there was just one carrier with this phone but there appears to be about 100 different ones if one looks at the stock messaging apk. I'm gonna mess with a few things and try to come up with something but I'm not feeling real positive about it.
Look in the cell com build I made and find the file system/etc/apns-conf.XML.

Yep. Also edit build.prop file. Change the ro.cdma.home.operator lines to Cellcoms info.

Hey guys we can now boot official JB roms on our Alltel/Non-Verizon RAZR! Using this kexec patch here: [KEXEC] STOCK to KEXEC Patch -- GSM/CDMA Patches - xda-developers
I tried flashing Flying Jelly ROM and then the patch by dtrail and it boots just fine. Only problem is it prompts for a SIM card and it'll need patched for Alltel and other carriers.

Well on thumb cells end it doesn't work... After changing build probs to match apns I can not get a signal whatsoever... Just try it and have a working stock slot or backup just in case.. As the first time I did it I had a boot loop easily fixed by my backup
I think I'll wait for a for sure one I guess

Got a successful build of Cm10.2. Now to see what works and doesn't.

Not yet, just my carrier first, need to verify what works and what doesn't. Don't want to give you all something that doesn't work.
