Hi, I posted a few months ago asking about a custom rom for my razr maxx, i installed rom manager and seen a few cm10's that I can download. I tried rc1 and was stuck in boot loop, so i restored. Is there some other step I'm missing? Thanks

RC5 is probably the build you want to install. Just make sure you install it to ROM slot 1 or else it will not boot.

CM10.1 is the best out there IMO. I'm not familiar with boot manager but most people use safestrap as their recovery. In safestrap you choose a slot to install ROMs to. CM10.1 is hard coded to only boot from slot 1.

are there any cm 10 roms that work for the xt908 , every one i try just locks after the safestrap, I just tried rc5 and made a 1gp partition on my sd and still nothing.

Hi guys. I'm new to this. I have the xt908 on alltel. It is rooted. I have installed safe strap. I would like to try the cm10.1 rom but I'm not really sure how to go about it. Does it require flashing a patch. How exactly do you do the patching? Thanks in advance for helping a noobie.

I have been reading a lot. I understand mounting the rom.
I don't understand how to patch. Also could someone link the downloads rom/patch?
It would be so much less confusing to see the 2 in the same place. Again thanks in advance for any help.

Tonight I'll try and have the lastest CM10.1 build for the following carriers, Alltel, nTelos, CellCom, Thumb Cellular and Nemont, uploaded. I'll probably use the Alltel build for the base and have patch zips for the other carriers.

Here you all go, lastest cm-10.1-20130612-UNOFFICIAL- nightly build for the Motorola Razz Maxx XT908. All credit and thanks should go to Hashcode, dHacker and Cyanogen team, I just tweaked a few things for us. As always, what you do to your phone is your doing I decided to make a full build for each carrier so there's no need for patching. I think the patching may lead to some confusion with all the different carriers. Those on Thumb Cellular and CellCom may want to verify MMS works. Haven't had anyone verify those yet.

thanks finally got it working. booted in to cyanogen, only thing is it keeps popping up with setup wizard has stopped. infinately... , i installed the wrong ver of gapps, did the rom come with it or do i need diff one?

You have to flash gapps seperately. This version should work.

One problem is I can't recieve mms... I get the notification and once I click on it there is no message in place of where the mms was suppose to b and it becomes lost forever... Everything else works flawlessly tho
