Ok, so this will make all android users feel good.
I have owned my GT for about a month now and since I have worked out most of the kinks I can't stop talking about my tab. So the other day I'm at my girl's house and she has just bought a shiny ipad 2 from best buy because her friends said the ipad was sooo cool. So naturally I do the good boyfriend thing and help her set it up which was no problem. Now here is where the fun comes in. She looks at my tab and sees I have the cup of water live wallpaper and asus weather widget, she says "babe, I want that". I say sorry babe apple doesn't support live wallpapers and or widgets.
She says I'm sure the app store has something, and sadly it did not. So next she sees the vast variety of screen widgets I have set up on the tab, once again she says "can the ipad do that"? I reply, no babe again apple doesn't support widgets. She is fuming but deep down I am greatly enjoying this (I know, its wrong, lol). So next we pull up a few web pages to see which browser loaded faster, the tab did and when we were on her favorite cooking site she could not watch the how to video on making a certain dish because as we all know her shiny ipad DOESN'T SUPPORT FLASH!!
So we download a few apps for her Facebook, some games and a couple of wallpapers and I can tell she is not impressed. She bragged that her ipad had way more apps then my tab did but that is where it stopped. After a week of the ipad, I could tell she was growing bored, so she has returned the ipad and is now a proud member of the android family with a GT 16 gig white wifi model and she couldn't be happier. I will say it was waaaaaaaay easier setting up her tab to her computer than it was for me to my mac but since she is a tab owner I see a greater use for her now
But she got the last laugh because that night I slept on the couch Android Baby!!
