GPS always use my HOME

I own a NOTE 9 ...with T MOBILE ...Anytime I am away from my house using my GPS.. For example, I would be over at my friend's house which is about 15 miles from my house.. I would type in NEAREST GAS STATION in google search.. But it always telling me where nearest gas station is from my HOME or anything I ask what is nearest to me where I am at that time.... I want it to give me nearest what ever where I am at at that time with my cell phone... I have LOCATION turn on...

Thanks Diddy good to be here... See that screen shot I posted with my post ? Isnt that Google app's Location that showing its on in that photo ? Or its something else you talking about ? If so, then I dont know where that is what you talking about..

That screen shot is google location, what B. Diddy was referring to Google app itself, long press it and tap info from there go to permission see if location is allowed?

Yup, that's the screen I was looking for.

In the Google app, after you search for "[xyz] near me", what does it say at the top of the result box? Does it say "near you," or something else? Also, what happens if you tap the Choose Area option right next to it?

Took screen shot of it what it said... Did that from my house while sitting on the couch just now.. Remember anytime I am out somewhere with my cell phone.. It always tell me how far everything is from my HOUSE, instead of where i am at.. at that time.

Ok, but the test would be to do the search when you're away from your house, to see if it still thinks you're home.

Thanks for your help Diddy... I didnt went out yesterday but forgot to take my cell phone.. grrrrrrrrrrrrr... I did go out this morning and tried t... It worked ! I was so happy.... Thank you for your help ..
