GPS signal not found when I'm in Malls

Hi, I'm using Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL when playing pokemon go and I notice that whenever I enter a mall, gps suddenly can't be found, is this due to hardware limitation of my phone??

GPS signals need line of sight to the satellites, which means that the signal is greatly diminished inside buildings or in very dense areas where too many buildings block you. The more you go inside the mall the weaker the signal gets so it might not be enough for your phone to get a location lock.

Not sure if the game uses this or not (I think it did on the early versions and that's how you can use tablets with it) but if you set your location settings to do so, the phone might take WiFi data (even if you're not connected to them, just by seeing the names and router addresses) and use that to approximate your location. Will not be as accurate as GPS, but might work for inside-use.

Maybe the signal blocked by walls ?

Tried this too. I guess the WiFi GPS high accuracy isn't enough. No GPS indoors.
