[GUIDE][8/1] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

Re: [GUIDE][7/6] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

Question regarding this please. Have been running Vicious Jelly Bean since the get go with 3.0.31 -franco.Kernel-384GPU and have been absolutely loving it! Performance and usage has been lightning fast and flawless. I am today reading this amazing post (thank you very much for all the oustanding feedback BTW) and wish to try to update. I am now pondering the difference between 384mhz or 512mhz GPU which I am being prompted with a choice to download. Which should I choose and why? Greatly appreciate your advise, thank you in advance!

512 works on some devices, but not all. Sometimes it's too aggressive. My suggestion is to try both and see if you can handle/like the 512 GPU one.

I dirtied too.

Most developers will tell you they always recommend a full data wipe. That's common because it will cover all the grounds on the ROM. If there is an error that occurs during a dirty wipe, it's always best practice to do a Full wipe to resolve the issue.

Clean wipe will also cover the developer from getting reamed by users in most cases.

Stick to clearing system, cache, dalvik, and 9 times out of 10 you should be fine with the update.

This. I also thought he wanted full wipes for the testers, but that could be incorrect.

So far this has to be the best release yet! I can't find a flaw in Jelly Belly 2.5
