Weird; what GAPPs did you use? Gallery2 is still in the ROM's zip...

I have only 1 gallery. Using Kejar's latest gapps. I dirty flashed from 7/16 and almost all is fine. So far, the only issue is when I go into the Franco Kernel app, it continuously asks for root permission. I don't really need the app right now since I'm using the stock kernel, but it's odd. Wasn't happening with 7/16.

Weird. Kejar's has GoogleGallery and the rom has Gallery 2, so you should have 2 Galleries (or at least two gallery apps in your system/app). Very weird.

Just checked system/app. Only GoogleGallery in there. Can't explain.

BTW, new CM10 Kang build out. SU binary no longer needed. I'll let you know if you still need to delete Gallery2.apk.

I was having issues with apps continually requesting root permission. I saw on XDA others were having that issue. If you're having the issue, the fix is to reflash the su binary despite it apparently being in the latest rom.

Nope, no issue there. I did go to the SU app and update the binary though. For some reason the included one read 3.2; the flash one is 3.1.3. I updated it, it went to 3.1.1 I believe and all's fine.

I tried updating the binaries before re flashing them. That didn't work for me.

Any thoughts on starting a dedicated CM10 Nightlies thread?

Also, just replicated that asking permissions thing. It's definitely the binary. Tapped it, updated fine, now it's all good. Beats having to flash the thing over .

Use Kejar's. They're in the RootzBoat thread at RW.

Also, update your SU binaries!
