Just tried it and same message:

'No such file or directory'

I was in the same boat. I know the update we did threw everything off. I know what I am doing, and have done things like this on my OG Droid and Galaxy Nexus. Clockwork mod just wasn't working right with my tablet.

I went back to stock, and rooted. I, too, will wait for a recovery from clockwork mod before I proceed.

Do you mean you had the same problem with getting the Nexus 7 to reboot from Terminal?

Silken, is your super boot folder on the desktop?

If so try this pls

~/desktop/r1-nexus7-superboot/ fastboot-mac reboot devices

Yeah...

Have tried it three times and all I keep getting is 'No such file or directory'. Is there any other way to reboot it?

I copied this into terminal and it is saying it is a directory. Should I browse to this?

If that doesn't work, you can power down the phone by using volume keys to navigate to power down, and select with power key.

Don't worry its Fine. Use the volume keys on the tab to power down

Or, now gthat it says is a directory, you can try this again

./ fastboot-mac reboot bootloader

Or

./adb-mac reboot bootloader

After this, can I continue to root the device?

Yeah try the reboot commands first, if no luck, power down.

Then, you can just power back up in boot loader mode again and root it

You can also power down by holding power in the boot loader mode I believe
