Hacks or files to bypass Setup Wizard without touchscreen?

Hi, i recently dropped my Droid and the digitizer isnt responding and i tried factory reseting it to see if that would help but it didnt and i tried taking apart to check the cables, board, etc.. but there are screws that wont budge at all so taking it apart is not an option and im stuck at the "Touch the android to begin" screen. So i was windering if there were any hacks or files that would help bypass that because i dont have $30 to shell out for a new screen. Oh and btw it is rooted but i never made a nandroid backup. Any help would be appreciated please! Thanks in advance!

this may sound dumb but have you tried to slide the keyboard open and press the button in the middle of the d-pad...just an idea. dont know if it works or not but its worth a try

Yeah I tried but no luck :'( i appreciate you trying to help though. to be honest im getting kinda desperate lol Ill probably just sell it on eBay
