Hardware Version 0002

Issue #1: Light leakage under all 4 capacitive bottom buttons, with the most light leaking from under the HOME button. No lifting appears to be imminent. Leakage disappears when pressing down with fingernail, but appears 30 seconds later

Issue #2: Problem hanging up phone. If screen goes to sleep (goes off) before your call ends, it is problematic to end the call on your end.

How big could their refurb stock be after just 11 days and 12 hours?

Not all refurbs are based on returns.

Phones that come off the line defective are sent back through without leaving the factory still have to be labeled as refurbs. So if they sold ~650,000 units assuming that report is accurate, chances are there are a couple thousand refurbs lying around.

0002 and am having the screen issue when my phone is laying on its back the notification pulldown bar does not respond and also touching certain areas glitch a bit (i.e. might sense the finger in a dif. location).

I assume they would send out an OTA update to help fix this issue though, no?

0003, this model was an exchange at Best Buy after my first unit had issues.

-Very minor light leaking on two buttons (each corner button)
-No screen lifting at this point
-no grounding issues with the screen
-battery door date is: 5/26/2010

I don't have light leakage but my problems are

1. Can't personalize ring tones to my contacts

2. Though its only happened once. My phone just randomly turned off and on about five times.

3. Unresponsive when not holding the phone but I think the phone is designed to respond to the static in our hand or something

No, it was reported those were all 0002.

0002 - the bottom part of the glass is definitely not recessed into the edges like the top is (may be the slightest sliver above the edge) but having no light leak issues and no screen responsiveness issues (set it on bed and it performs fine).

I have 003 and no issues.... Well I am waiting for someone to explain to me what "Light Leakage" is? With mine I do NOT have any issues with the WiFi or the Glass coming up. Light leakage I don't think is a problem.... If I hold my phone and turn the screen on and A. look at it at an extreme angle (So extreme I can barely make out what is on the screen any more) I can see what some one might consider light leakage above/under the capacitive buttons at the bottom of the screen. Also if I am in a dark enough room and turn the screen on I get "Light Leakage" from the HDMI and USB ports on the bottom of the phone..... Neither of which would have even come to my attention at all until I read "LIGHT LEAKAGE" problem and started looking harder than usual.....

Slight light leakage under home button. Can't tell if screen is raising. All I know is if I press the portion where the light leak is down, the leak goes away and then reappears seconds later. I assume that would suggest minimal raising
