Hardware Versions: 0002 or 0003? Also, HTC called me back about the screen issue..

Hardware Version? (I'm going to add 0001 and 0004 just in case)

I have 0003 with a serious battery issue (My battery is under 20% by 2pm and I don't wake up until 8:30am), screen light leakage, and the non-holding in hand touch screen issue. Gonna try this new ROM. Wish me luck!

Well my gf has a version 2, mine's a version 3, and I tested both our phones with a benchmark app. I ran both at the same time and hers is between 29 and 30 fps. However, mine from the time it starts stays at 31 fps. Not a big deal but maybe if the fps getting unlocked mine might run a little tad bit smooth!!! Not sure but that's all I cam up with. I was really thinking of doing some test with both phones. Taking same pics, record same vids, any other test like things I could check to see if there's any other diff between her 002 and mine003. But problem is, she had a iPhone b4, I said I'd put her on my plan with the Evo and she cant put it down. She's always showing it off to her friends and they all say they want 1. She said she would never go back to her iPhone cuz she's in love with her Evo. If she's happy I'm happy.

0003 and have light leakage on the bottom left along with the screen lifting in the same place.

0003. Just noticed light leakage under home button, and minimal leakage under menu and search. I've had the phone 10 days and didn't notice it before even after looking for it. As long as it doesn't get worse I can live with it. No other issues that bother me or matter.

I have version 0003. It has a very small amount of light leakage under the home button that is only visible in complete darkness also I have noticed the leakage is only present when the capacitive buttons are light there is no leakage when only the screen is on. I also do not have any screen lift at all interestingly when you push down on the screen the light leakage does not go away so I think on some phones at least the leakage is not caused by a glue problem on the screen. I am quite happy with my evo.

Version 0002
The case has separated slightly from the screen by the volume rocker and I have light leakage from the lower right (under the search and back button) of the screen. The screen doesn't appear to be lifting and I do not have any issues with touch input

Version 0002

Light leakage under all four buttons. No screen separation. Wifi signal is weak....very weak. No issues with touch.

Version 3.
No light leakage. FM radio works great with Sprint's wired headset. Power button perfectly intact. WiFi signal reception as good as my Powerbook. No grounding issue noted.

Cannot turn phone on while it is charging.

002 ... I have the lil light leakage on the bottom near home button but didnt notice it til it was brought to my attention from the forum and then I looked for it.

0002
Purchased on Launch Day
Purchased from Sprint Corp.
Purchased in LA

No other issues really ...

I haven't read through all posts, but my light leakage also bleeds through the black 'paint' below the buttons.002 model. Going to exchange Saturday. I hope I don't get a worse one.

the battery back is different: a more-rubberized surface which fits way more snugly and tightly than the shinier 0002 back the original one had, though I know this may have been mentioned before. 0003 phone generally feels more solid without the creaky backplate too, no difference in terms of software performance etc. so far.

So it's not just me, I thought the back on 0003 felt different than 0002. And it does fit a lot better.
