Has anyone gotten the 2.3.7 update?

I am stock and received the update around 11pm central last night.

Same here. I didn't apply the update yet because I wasn't sure if it was going to stop me from being able to tether.

i got an update last night around 9 pm eastern time, but my android version is still 2.3.5? should it say 2.3.7?
phone is stock

I have not had it "offered" to me yet, nor can I get my phone to grab it via Settings->About Phone->System updates.

For all I know, the problem keeping me from being able to update my prl or profile is getting in the way here, but I also could just be paranoid and I'm in a later bunch.

I want that $10 from Google, though, so I figure if I haven't gotten the update by mid next week, I'll just sideload it.

Does anyone know how to update to 2.3.7 and keep all data/settings? I'm rooted on the stock ROM. Can I just do the OTA? Will I lose root? If I do lose root, will I have to wipe phone and reroot (one click method)?

Please help :/

You'll still be unlocked. You just need to reflssh cwm and flash su again. And your all good yo go if you update stock rooted.

Download ROM Manager.
Open Rom Manager.
Make Sure You are on most current ClockworkMod Recovery.
Download Rom.
Peter Alfonso
Install the Deodexed "Stock Rooted GWK74".
Wipe Dalvik. Backup Current. (Do Not Wipe Data and Cache- if you were running the Stock Software, you should be fine. That is only usually done when running a custom ROM).
Once it reboots, Open ROM Manager.
Download Rom.
Peter Alfonso.
D720SPRKE1.
Wipe Dalvik. Dont Backup. Dont Wipe Data.
After that you are done.
You may want to install Peter Alfonso's Tethering Fix for Tether.
You will have to reset up your homescreens unless you were running a custom homescreen launcher like Launcher Pro or ADW.

If your phone has a lot of Force Closes then you need to Restore Backup using Rom manager. and make sure you have GRJ90 baseband installed, if not reinstall. Then use Titanium backup to backup all your user apps. Copy Titanium Folder from phone to computer. Do my earlier steps, but when installed GWk74, do wipe data and cache. You will use titanium to get apps back after you install it and bring that folder back over from computer.

I just wanted to make a comment. I've been hanging out mostly over at XDA the last few days and I haven't seen a have you got the update yet thread anywhere, lol.

About the financial thing: the official link from Google would be just the same with no worries about someone messing with the zip prior to you getting it for future reference.

What's wrong with helping out the new guys? I was one once.

Just making a comment roms how many did you get the update yet threads there are. On top or each other. Lol could all be in one.
