Ordered mine December 3rd approximately 1:14pm Pacific. Quoted 7-8 weeks. I'm also in Vancouver. Today the status changed from pending to pre-ordered. Whatever that means. I have the screen protectors for front and back ready for when it arrives.
What time did you order and did your order status change before you received your phone?
I ordered mine at 12:06 with 1-2 weeks and my order status hasn't changed in google wallet.

12:05pst I didn't see any change in my status it just said pending I believe.

I'm in same situation. I wrote to Google and I received a e-mail telling me it is supposed to ship by December 19th. I had a 1-2 weeks shipping delay when i ordered my phone.
Just checked with my CC company. Google finally charged my credit card for the phone on dec 12 so keeping my fingers crossed...
order status in google wallet still says pending and no shipping confirmation email... i thought they only charge my CC when they've shipped my phone...if this is true should get my package by tomorrow if they use 2 day delivery service like i read somewhere...
There's no 2-day shipping for Canada. That's US only. If you go to Google Play Help it says 2 day shipping, but after changing language to English (Canada) it only says UPS standard shipping, which I think is 3-5 days depending on where in Canada you are. I ordered a Nexus 7 back in September, and shipping was 4 days to Edmonton, AB

I got my shipping confirmation an hour ago (1:00 PM EST)....I ordered it on Dec 3rd & was advised that i will get it in 1-2 weeks. Order being shipped by UPS from Louisville KY, US. Super happy...this just made my weekend
I believe that most of the people that had 1-2 weeks shipping already got an email with shipping info and the rest will probably get it by the end of the day.
I got it like 2 hours ago and after checking the tracking i (and others) saw that the device was actually shipped yesterday but only today we got the shipping email..
So devices were probably shipped already, you just need to wait for the email.

I dont want to get my hopes up but looking at the tracking number the package is located in Maumee, OH, United States which is less than 5 hours drive from me so i'm hoping here for an earlier arrival

The last update I got was at 9:54 AM. Departure scan from Middleburgh Heights, OH. That's a good 9 hours away from Montreal! I'm not expecting to see any new update before Monday, since there's no shipping on weekends. Tuesday does sound about right to me.
