I go offroading in the desert and everything is covered in a layer of fine powdered sand I have a pressurized water sprayer and I just spray the whole front of the camera down and let the muddy water flow off and then dry the screen with a microfiber tower, doing the same with my glasses to prevent scratching works for me.
