Have You Gotten Jelly Bean 4.3? Thread

If Update with Fastboot the root will lose ? and need to root again or no ?

You will lose root..I lost mine today in the process. I tried to preserve mine using the ota root keeper with no success :(

I am not too worried though.. Since could of days from now I am sure we will have a way out!

PSA for Root users: Root is currently kind of broken in stock 4.3 due to some behind the scenes security changes. Of the two superuser apps people use:
1. Koush's Superuser is being worked on, hoping for a solution soon and update.
2. Chainfire's SuperSU has been modified with a hack to bypass the issues, but is not working 100% reliably and has some bugs.

Will try and update as more info comes out. Interested users should follow Koushik Dutta on G+ as well for any updates. I'm sure it'll all get resolved in due time.

Nothing in NY. Nexus 4.

Guys do u think Google is only pushing it to so many people each day? For example 1000 updates a day?

Nothing in Puerto Vallarta Mexico on Telcel. I even tried VPN to Atlanta and Texas. Nothing. So I got impatient and side loaded last night. Root is broken and I had to remove my google account and recreate it as the Play Store would not update. I had used Voodoo Rootkeeper but it failed to keep root. I also had to remove the updates for Gmail as it would not download messages. To do this I had to add another account, delete my account then recreate it. After I recreated I could remove the other account. All in all, I messed around for about 4 hours to get things in line again.
No big deal on the upgrade that I can see so far. Camera app changed, but then I had already updated that. Phone looks a bit crisper and it seem to respond a bit quicker but it is hard to tell.

Nothing here Atlanta, Georgia. Then again I don't really care about photosphere, the camera isn't all that to begin with.

Nothing yet in Pensacola, FL. My personal Nexus is on T-Mobile and have one at the office on AT&T and no OTA update on either. I'm about to update one of them with the images.
