Men u guys are scaring me. is this something that can be easily fixed with a reboot? Or is it something that needs to be replaced? Cus I want a bionic, but not if it is worst than the thunderbolt.

You just have to pull the battery, it is more of a nuisance

I've just had black screen with extended battery for the first time since the first day. I have another problem. If I turn off and turn back on, I'll lose all my songs on SD cards. Once, I lost all my pics. Videos and musics. Everything else was still there. Did Anyone experience it before?

Happened twice. The first one 7 days after purchase and the second one after 19 days. Hope doesn't happen anymore or the software update resolves it.

Yes since the first day issue with stock battery. Verizon store did reset and I am still getting them. Have insurance and may really pitch a B once the Razor comes out and get that. This feels like the Eris scenario all over again:mad:

Knock wood, but I have not had one now since 9/21.

The only thing I can think of that I haven't done is connect to my computer during that period. I did tether briefly thru the USB port, but no files loaded onto the handset or SD card at all.

I do still have to clean the DCIM folder in the internal memory periodically as files and crap files seem to appear there from time to time.

No BSOD here. Extended battery. Stock OS / launcher.

Yes - Standard Battery

Yes - Extended Battery

My first Bionic had the standard battery. Verizon replaced it with my current Bionic. The BSOD happened once in the week I had it.

With my current Bionic, I bought the extended battery. With this phone, I get the BSOD about once a week. I have only owned the phone for a little over two weeks.

I've had my Bionic since the last Friday of September I experienced the BSOD twice tonight. The battery was really low down on 20% I think and I was standing by a fire the phone got a little warm from it so I thought maybe it was because of that. I did battery pulls both times it happened. So far I haven't had it the rest of the night, but I did plug it in to the charger.

Returned 2 Bionics with BSOD and they lost my contacts. STD Batt on both.

Person I work with got BSOD 3 days after purchase and is ready to return.

Hope the grass is greener with Samsung Nexus Galaxy on Verizon

I've noticed that each of the times I have gotten the BSOD, the phone is very warm. I wonder if it the problem is some sort of heat issue with the phone. Maybe the problem will be addressed and or corrected with whatever alleged update we are supposed to receive in November.

Just did a battery pull. Phone came back to life. Standard battery. This is the first problem that I have encountered. Got the phone last week of Sept. Love it so far. Not rooted, I'm not that technically minded.

Just got the BSOD for the first time. I have an extended battery and I haven't had a lot of issues with this phone in general. while it is more of a nuisance than anything else, pulling the battery is not an acceptable solution to this. hopefully the update fixes this issue.

All the freaking time!!! Man do I miss my Droid X. I am on my 3rd bionic and can not stress enough how disappointed I am with it. I do battery pulls about as often as I used to with my Storm. I had my X and never had a problem with it. Had I not dropped it one too many times without a case I'd still be running it.

Between the BSOD, losing 4G, losing data link and all the other little issues I am not sure what to do next. It is a great phone when it decides to work. I am really thinking of seeing if I can swap it for a RAZOR. I have all my issues on file at the store, even brought it in when it was acting up. I know it is a long shot but we will see.

I never had this issue. Ever since the time change it has done thus 3 times wtf. Anyone else experience this after time change?

BSOD yesterday and today, one with std battery and one with extended battery. Battery pull to fix each time.WTF

2 weeks ago phone completely died. Removed battery 3x with no power up at all, even when connected to charger. Verizon shipped new (refurbished) handset and this one was OK until this morning when BSOD occurred with only flashing green light. Had to do the battery trick and came back up. Have any updates occurred yet? Will handset still prompt to install updates? Thanks much

Had this happen twice in the last 2 days. Fortunately it happened when I was near my Verizon store. Took it in and they said this was the first one they had seen... I told them it was a common problem being seen all over. Told me the only "fix" they had was to install the advanced task killer until the updates come out that will supposedly remedy the problem.

She also tried to download the task killer and it told her that I had insufficient data to do this... and tried again and told her something else. Good to have this stuff happen while a verizon rep is handling your phone. Got it all in the history now.

I hope the phone gets fixed in the update. Had many weird things happen.... losing 1/2 my contacts, black screen, etc..

CRAP!! BSOD free since 9/21 and just had one this AM. Touched the Universal inbox for emails and whack! BSOD.

Damn you Moto and VZW!!
