The screen seems smaller than the TB, and the icons are smaller. The TB's screen looks more vivid to me.

If that's the case then I have to wonder if you have a defective Rezound. The difference between the two screens ls literally the difference between night and day and I think you will see the same in every major review of the device.

As for the screen size, the Thunderbolt is shorter and wider than the Rezound, but resound is taller. I see what you mean but I find the Rezound easier to hold and talk from.

After running the Rezound all day today, I am going to keep it. I watched NFL and played Hot Pursuit today, and I can tell the difference in Blood and Glory between the two phones. The phone does seem to fit in the hand better since it's not so wide. So I retract my last statements, and am happy with the rezound. Would I have upgraded from the TB for the full $300 VZW wanted? No prob not, but for what I have in it I am happy. Plus I *ALMOST* get 4g in my house, hopefully soon vzw will put another tower closer or do something else so I can get it.

Had rezound 3 weeks now, LOVE it! Battery life is acceptable, I average 8 to 14 hours depending on usage.

I dont see how you guys are getting good battery life, even with the extended battery i only get lik 7-8 hours. I am using it quiet a bit, and its switching between 3g and 4g so I think thats what is draining so much.

^^^ Yep that's it. Your battery life will increase if you turn off 4G and turn it back one only when you need it.

I have found that it is more about the 'awake' time more than anything else. Pretty much doesn't matter how long my battery lasts, I always get around 3 - 4 hours of awake time (time when screen is actually on)

See it really doesnt bother me (coming from a Palm Pre) my battery life sucked. So I have a work charger/car charger/ home charger. And the good thing about it, the plugs are the same I guess it is more noticable since I have battery left and it tells me how much time I have left, and the time it'll die lol. I love the rezound, still a little ticked I dont get 4g at home, but besides that I like it. I just hope rooting comes out soon, so I can wifi tether. That is truly the only thing I miss.

I purchased two Rezounds for my wife and myself on Friday and went to buy two extended batteries from Verizon. I had EVO devices prior to these and knew that I would need the larger battery.

I ordered the Rezound as an upgrade from my OG Droid. I ordered it from Amazon for $219.00 no tax no shipping on Friday evening, and it was delivered Monday morning. I went to the Verizon store and bought an extended battery, screen protectors, and a case w/kickstand/holster combo. Started charging it up and I activated it at the same time. Sense is brand new to me, and I feel like I have a lot to learn. For some reason all my contacts listed under the people tab on the phone are listed 3 or 4 times Anyone know how to correct that?

I got the Rezound about 2 weeks ago. I had the Thunderbolt before which I liked but didn't feel like it was gonna last a year or more. I really like the Rezound and I like it far more than the Thunderbolt. I'm a HTC Sense fan and I think sense 3.5 is far better then the Thunderbolts version.

I got mine using 1? the day after Thanksgiving. You must have got it right under the wire?. Lucky U ! Mine has been working perfectly with just the standard (got 2 of them) battery. The screen is AMAZING...nothing like it.

Over the next couple days Sense will give you recommendations for ones you want to merge with each-other just read through their list and approve them. They are separate because they are coming from different databases (phone contacts, Facebook, different Google accounts, Twitter, etc.). If it bothers you that much there are options in the People app to merge them manually but usually just let Sense do it for me.

Very unlikely. Rezound is a high profile device while the GNex is basically a niche device by a different OEM.
