I tried Googling but found nothing, anyone know since ics technically phone firmware whether HBO go will work on this tablet after the ics upgrade? I guess what I'm asking is does anyone know anyone with a galaxy nexus that shows HBO go in market

Surely HBO is working on an update. I had Netflix on my EVO for about a week and then I updated to 2.3 and there went Netflix with it. They had the update out within the week. Hopefully HBO can do the same

I would not expect an update anytime soon. HBO GO never even updated for honeycomb which was a year ago so they have neglected to update for tablets for over a year so I would not hold my breath. I was pissed when I saw it wasn't being updated.

It could be conspiracy theory but I did hear people in the past say it had to do with that rotten fruit, since the imaxiPad has HBOgo available

I read an article several months ago that said HBO was debating on putting out the app for Honeycomb, but said they were unsure if the demand was there, and they would certainly be making one for ICS. I'll try and dig up the article.

Bottom line is we should see one in the near future.

I E-mailed HBO Go and got a very vague reply.

we are currently working on an ICS update and it will be released when finished.

So i think it is coming, but absolutely nothing to go by in there reply.

Just go directly to hbogo.com, and launch it directly in your browser. It works.

This.

But be sure to "Request desktop site" in your browser. Simply done in ICS native browser; a little more difficult in 3.0. Or use an alternative browser like Dolphin HD.
