I have a lg volt phone and skull candy headphones. About a week ago they did plug in, but now they don't show up as plugged in, but they still work as they plug in on computers and other phone except mine, other headphones also plug in on my phone and they work, I don't know whats going on, any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! When you plug them into your Volt, you don't hear any sound at all, or is it distorted?
Use a can of compressed air to blow out the jack, or a damp toothpick to root around, in case there's any debris stuck in there.
