Headphone Static

Is anyone else getting static/white noise from their headphones when playing music? I use the same headphones with my Ipod Touch and don't get any noise. This happens with PowerAmp and the stock music player.

Is the jack-in part of the headphone completely in? It's snapped in all the way? I get this a lot with my iPod and other devices requiring headphones/earphones and sometimes that hole..input..jack thingy is just tight... O___O. Just jam it in there if it isn't alread in all the way.
