Help! Ceramic white frame color?

Oops... I accidentally posted this in the Android Q&A, but thought that my old crackberry ID would allow me to post here.

Anyway, I decided to pre-order the 512GB S10+ so instead of going with blue (original color of choice), I could get the ceramic white/black "free".

After reading some of the posts in these threads and an article here on all of the colors, the frame color came up... which I didn't even think of when ordering. Does anyone know what color the ceramic white frame is?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I may end up changing or canceling my order on the ceramic white. Thanks!

Thank you! Going to be my first Samsung device... and a huge upgrade. For the money I put out and after reading a few posts, feared it would be Rose Gold.

Have nothing really against Rose Gold, but seems feminine to me (prob since my mother is on her second White/Rose Gold phone). Not something I wanted and for what I'm paying def not settling if it isn't what I really want!

As a side note I just built the same GS10+ 512GB Ceramic White on samsung.com and now says will arrive by March 8th where as my pre-order states will ship by March 8th (placed after midnight when first available for pre-order), but 1st world problems/not likely going to be an issue.

That video is incorrect. He is not unboxing the ceramic version.

The ceramic version has a GOLD frame.

The black ceramic has a sort of a gun metal gray frame.

I cancelled my white ceramic order based on that color.

You can also clearly see the rose gold band in official Samsung photos here at this link. Scroll down and select the white ceramic color.

Great... So now I'm thinking about this. I do NOT like the Ceramic White with the Gold at all. So wasted a ton of time and will see what other options I have.

So much for reserving and ordering. I do appreciate the help here though. A lot of money and effort of hours with the pre-order site; fraud alert and re-ordering still hesitant to hit cancel, but what can you do.

Edit: All Samsung has for an unlocked S10+ is 128GB unless Ceramic White or Black. The White has a Rose Gold frame and the Ceramic Black has brown hues not a solid black. Neither of which I want. Knew about the off-black, did not know about the Gold on the white (obviously). Damn.

Well, I wouldn't knock it until you see it in person. When I got the Note 7 or 8 in blue and it came with a rose gold frame I thought I wasn't gonna like it... and it worked with that color at least. Sorry the video I posted above was wrong, apparently.

Spending $1k+ on a phone... is a lot for me so just want to make sure it's what I want. I'm sure the shade could be different, but I've seen Rose Gold frames on white and just not me.

I'll have to look more carefully as I didn't realize that the blue also has a gold shade frame (assuming from your post). Besides the Ceramic White, I'd be perfectly happy with the reg white with silver/stainless steel... or even blue with a gold shade might be good as well.

Just sitting here at this point unable to order anything if I want a S10+ unless it's 128GB so nothing to do as of now. I could have sworn that when I first ordered I could get any color combo with 512GB on the S10+.

More frustrated with myself, but it looked silver to me on pre-order pictures. Should have looked into the colors a bit more. Would think Samsung would have advertised the Ceramic White with Gold on the order page; maybe I just missed it.

Appreciate the help/opinions though.

That was on the older Note. Note 9 had a blue frame and I believe the S10 has a blue one too. Also,your comment about it looking silver on the previews is what I meant by seeing it in person: it might NOT look like rose gold most of the time, especially with their prism colors this time (heck even the white doesn't look white half the time)

I ordered the white ceramic S10+, but a tech guy I know that works for Best buy said he's had hands on,and the trim on the white ceramic definitely looks silver to him. So? I think it's almost subjective right now! I guess we'll see.

The ceramic one is the phone I ordered. On the Samsung website it shows the sides as well as the front and back. No where is "rose" gold visible. The frame is silver. See attached. I would not have ordered the phone if it had a rose gold frame. It may be that they made some demo's with rose gold but from what I see it will come with a silver frame (or it's going back)

I'm thinking about ordering the Ceramic Black now. It was mentioned that it's not a solid black, but with brown hues. It looks good in some of the videos I saw so not sure yet. The "brown" mentioned was why I went with white in the first place, but just can't do the Rose Gold.

FWIW I hear the ceramic is "surprisingly light," and I can tell you first hand that the ceramic black color is really, really nice. Nicer than the prism black, and the finish looks more metallic than the prism black. It's much more gun metal than black. The hue changes depending on lighting, and can look dark grey, gun metal, even silverish. And yes, I can kinda see how some may see it having a brownish hue at times.

I personally don't like the size of the Plus, so I went with the regular S10 in prism white.
