AC Question

My phone recently stopped working and when I use a certain combination of keys to boot it into recovery mode there is the little android symbol with a warning sign above it with "No Command" written beneath it. A friend told me I seem to have wiped the recovery hardware without knowing and I was wondering if there is any way to reinstall the proper software or, alternatively, is there any way to remove all my pictures and music and contacts from my phone's internal memory? I asK this because a lot of stuff didn't save to my SD Card.

Charge-le? Apportez-le dans un atelier de réparation? Nous ne pouvons pas deviner ce qui ne va pas, à moins de pouvoir diagnostiquer ce qui s'est passé.

-----All you do is press bixby or down vol, off, and wait.

-----if that doesn't work press off for 10sec and repeat until your fine turns on, or a different error pops up Wich will be something like "no recovery", or "no operating system".

My Samsung galaxy S7 edge has been having the same problem, showing no command above the android update logo, however my issue is that my power button does not work. I dropped my phone and the power button was pushed in and with the phones design is a 250 pound fix that i deemed not worth it. As normally samsung has a button combination that turn the phone on.

My phone ran out of charge and normally you would use the volume button combination to turn it on, and has worked in the past, but today the Recovery screen popped up and I have no clue how to fix it. HELP!

#Reboot Recovery Cause is [UNKNOWN]#
No Support SINGLE-SKU

File-Based OTA
Supported API: 3

# MANUAL MODE v1.0.0#

Has the initial issue been resolved or did I miss that? My phone is occasionally getting stuck on No Command in recovery mode as well, however, it's more complicated than that.

A Verizon OTA update bricked my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge the other day. There's a saved audio file of the last voicemail I have from my grandpa before he passed away. It's not on the SD card & not in the cloud. I had to get a new phone (thanks Verizon 🙄) so that's all been checked.

The S7 does nothing but loop to a black page. I can't turn on USB Debugging, so the laptop won't read the phone either. It doesn't restart in Safe mode or anything & that is the only menu you can get to.

Every place I've called says it's useless the files are gone. I can see from online forums I'm not the only one that's experienced this issue but no one has posted an update.

I have an Samsung Galaxy A8. It shows me the no command robot thingy and i can't do anything. I tried pressing the power n the volume buttons, doesn't work. It's like my buttons aren't working

Hi, I also had the same "No Command" error on an android phone and what I did was to long-press the power button + volume up/down key depending on the phone. This will bring up some options for your android. What we want to look for is something that says "Factory Reset/Wipe Cache, Recovery Mode", select that option and try to find an option to do a Factory Reset or Wipe Cache and the phone should reboot. Note that this could take several times of repeating the same process, mine took 3 times to make the phone boot normally from the original state.

Just holding the power button in until the phone vibrates might also fix it. It depends on what caused it. (It could take up to 30 seconds.)

But if all you can get to is a screen that says "no command", it could be that there's no recovery in the phone, and you'd have to reflash the ROM. Again, it depends on what's wrong (and what kind of phone it is).
