Help! Is my phone completely dead?

Some accidents happened during upgrading. My phone was stuck at emergency mode for 10 mins, I then released the battery. After that the phone is completely dead, no response after pushing the power button.

Also tried Home + Volume Down + Power for 15 seconds, no response at home.

is it completely dead?

Nothing as in keypad doesn't light up or backlight doesn't come on?

EDIT - If you have no response at all, then I believe it's dead. Call TMO they'll probably send you a new phone if it's still under warranty

If you're stuck in fastboot then you can unbrick it.

My phone has been returned, and now it can be turned on. However, I am stuck at "Security Error, Emergency Call Only" mode, no way to turn it off. I tried to remove the battery, and tried to hard reset the phone once more, but no rescure. what is going on here?

Any clue and solution will be appreciated.

Just contatced the LG warranty service via online chat. Was told to send the unit back for another round of repair!

How do you keep bricking your phone?

If your phone is stuck in Emergency mode you can fix it yourself.

P.S. - LG isn't going to play this game forever.

No, you didn't get it. I did not do anything this time. The phone stucks at "Emergency Call" ever since it has arrived. It is not the Emergency Mode.

i cant help but to laugh at myself at this mess i created similar to yours...
i was flashing different firmwares on my optimus t and didnt pay attention to the battery level...
now i have a brand new optimus t brick
LOL


god - i flashed darktremors mod on my gravity smart and now it boot loops - another brick i suppose.

I gave myself a scare last week when I got stuck in Emergency Mode after flashing the latest TWRP. First time I've ever experienced it. I've since gone back to good 'ol AmonRa and I'm a little hesitant now.

artard - Is your T done? No lights, power, nothing?
Your Gravity should be fine but I understand the frustration.
