help! is there a hdmi adapter for galaxy alpha

Hi I have bought a samsung mhl 2.0 adapter from eBay but not sure if it's geniune. Tried it on my samsung alpha doesn't even recognise it however tried the adapter on a s5 it's recognised. Can anyone advise me if there is a cable I could use to connect my phone to a tv? Thanks

According to the Alpha's specs, there's no MHL support on this phone, so that's probably why the cable works on your S5 (which does have MHL support) but won't on your Alpha. There's no way to output video to a TV using a cable from this phone.

Your only options are to use wireless mirroring either to a Smart TV or to a device like Chromecast.
