Help me to block scam calls on my Samsung Galaxy S8 please

Hi, I am hoping someone here can help.

I have been getting lots of calls for months, nearly everyday I get at least one. They vary, sometime sthey ask for this woman who I do not know and sometimes they hang up and sometimes they talk about accident claims, all sorts. I have checked many of the numbers on this website called https:scam-numbers.co.uk/[URL/] and...ng Galaxy S8. Thank you in advance, Andy H

Welcome to Android Central! This kind of thing can get pretty frustrating. It think it's Google's own Phone app (for Pixel phones) that has an algorithm to suspect and alert you about a potential scam call, but I'm not sure if that's available on other phones.

One potential option would be to turn on Do Not Disturb, and set an exception for any call from a contact in your Contacts list. Obviously, though, that might make you miss important calls from people who aren't in your contacts. If you don't typically expect calls from people outside of your usual contacts, though, it can be a useful strategy.
