My T-Mobile G3 has been devouring data. It's using upwards of 200mb/hr right now. I've done a factory reset, I've turned off Google backup, I've restricted background access, everything.

I'm using My Data Manager and the culprit is "OS Services." I've used a few other apps as well, and they all say the same thing.

I don't know what else to try? I've done a ton of research, and this seems to be a common problem, but none of the existing solutions work.

Thoughts? Ideas? Help?

Might it be your phone is downloading the Lollipop update ?

It was (on mine) 1224.18 Mb.

I never saw that rate of data pulled by Android OS, but I was seeing about 60 or so MB per day due to an old version of K-9 mail app. This was last October. After a reset and carefully reinstalling everything twice, I finally narrowed it down to that app. It sucks how an app can do that and hide behind "Android OS" or "Android Services."
