The inclusion of these kinds of accessories seems to be carrier dependent. I'm on AT&T and have had the "shutter sound" option since day one. Running 4.4.2
I would contact your carrier and see if they can help you.

Go into your phone settings......system updates......and see if there are any software updates for your phone. I'm on Verizon and received my software update notice on my phone a few weeks ago.

As long as your volume is up it should make the sound. My has the option to shut it off or on.

Please stop incessantly bumping your thread. Your question has been answered: the option to turn the shutter sound off (in the Samsung camera app) is available only after you upgrade to Android 4.4.4. The other thread you created about upgrading to Android 4.4.4 has answered your question there. You can't do anything about it, you will just have to live with the shutter sound or use a different camera app. Download some from the Play Store and see which camera app works best for you. Until then, you will just have to wait for your wireless carrier to push out Android 4.4.4 to your phone or you can root it but I highly recommend that you don't do that.

What Carrier are you on? My Sprint S5 is on 4.4.2 and the shutter sound is tied to my volume on my ringer, if I turn it to silent or vibrate my camera doesn't have a shutter sound.
