Im having a problem I notice that my Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 version 4.2.2 been acting sometimes sluggish. So I went to do a Wipe Cache Partition and it shows progress but then with error. and just reboots is this normal or is there a bug? any help would be great. Thanks guys :)

Sure doesn't sound normal. Does it seem to run fine after that, or still sluggish? Are you rooted or stock?

Are you able to take a screenshot when the error occurs, and post it?

Hmm. Might need to consider a factory reset.

That won't void my warranty would it? And how do I do that? What's that program?

Probably not. As far as I understood reflashing Stock ROMs or recoveries wouldn't do that. ODIN is a program that helps to flash (install) programs on a cell phone.
As for how...let me try to find a video that somewhat demonstrates it.

looks to complex to even do this just so I can flash stock 4.2.2 again :\ bah I tried a factory reset that didn't fix the wipe cash partition at all.
Ok...Have you tried connecting to your PC with Kies?

Probably because of the corrupted recovery.

emergency firmware is only if the upgrade failed for 4.2.2 wish they just had an option to flash the device with kies. But that doesn't look like it will happen there a thing that say Emergency using the recovery code but meh don't got a code so no luck there. anyone out there that has a galaxy tab 2 10.1 running 4.2.2 having a issue on not being able to perform a wipe cache partition by any chance? Or is it just me? Or did Samsung screw up some where?

i also am experiencing this. It seems 4.2.2 hogs the heck out of my RAM and often has weird intermittent wifi traffic while the device is idle directly after a restart.
Any idea what this could mean?

On my tab 2. If I press the switch and down volume key to go to my other menu it tells me no commands. How can I resolve this.

So does this mean its gonna be like the forever? And one more thing does this bug restrict me from doing anything?
