I have a new S3, and overall I'm happy with it, but I'm seeing a couple of performance issues I can't figure out. With a couple of games, specifically Real Racing 3 and Yesterday. on RR3, it runs really well, but the rearview mirrors are blank, and the sounds seem to be a bit delayed from the graphics. On yesterday, the performance is awful. Sound is extremel choppy and graphics tend to stutter alot too. Seems like others with the S3 aren't having these problems, so wondering if there are settings I can/should tweak.

Try going into Settings then Developer options. Scroll down to Window animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale. Change all 3 to 0.5x. This should smooth out the graphics and hopefully the sound. If it does not help go back in and change them to Animation is off, but try 0.5x first. As far as blank rear-view mirror you need to contact the creator of the game.

Already did all 3 of those. Still very poor performance in Yesterday. audio & video are both stuttering constantly. Any other performance tips?

Have you tried clearing the memory and running apps in the background. Long press the home button to go into the Task Manager. Hit the trash can bottom right. When done go back into Task Manager and tap the Pie chart bottom left and then Ram at the top and Clear memory. I this does not work you may need to do a Factory Reset. Backup before the Factory Reset as it will delete all apps and settings.
