Here IT IS FINALLY! NAND UNLOCK AND REFLASH TOOL!

Ok so before I start I just want to make sure I'm going to do it right.

1. Download the unrevolved.zip file from the XDA forums. incredible ROMS | Yeah, you know you want it.
2. Rename unrevolved.zip to update.zio
3. Place it in the root folder on my phones SD card
4. Reboot phone into recover
5. Apply update.zip

Thanks,

@BringTheRain403 It did. I got it to work.

But what I did first was installed App Brain from the Market. It keeps track of all my apps. That way it was easier to install the apps again.

Let me know if you have any problems installing the rom. Took me a few tries but I finally got it to work.

Yes I am. Works really well. I got my download from the link above. My directions changed a little bit though. Follow these here.

1. Download the unrevolved.zip file from the XDA forums.
2.Rename unrevolved.zip to update.zip (this isn't absolutely necessary but makes it easier)
3. Place the new file in the root folder of your sd card on the phone
4. Reboot the phone into HBOOTby holding Vol- and Power
5. Scroll down to "RECOVERY" and press the power button.
6. When the ClockworkMod Recover appears scroll to and select "wipe data/factory reset" (note: this will wipe all your user data) (Note: when you're in clockworkmod you can use the optical trackpad and MUST use it's button to select items. Hitting the Power button goes back)
7. Once that's complete, scroll to and select "wipe cache partition"
8. Once complete, scroll to and select "apply sdcard:update.zip" (only if you renamed it to update.zip, otherwise scroll to and select "install zip from sdcard" and scroll to/select unrevolved.zip
9. Once that applies select "reboot system now"
10. Let the phone start up completely and add this file to the sdcard:
11. Reboot into the ClockworkMod Recovery with instructions 4 & 5.
12. Scroll to "install zip from sdcard" and scroll to app.zip to install the google apps.
13. Reboot device. This will prompt the google startup where it asks for account information.

I have to credit Larsrya8 over at the XDA forums for posting some information. I take no credit for any of these steps. This is what worked for me after reading the forum over there.

Edit: removed the links, they can be found on another forum.

please erase that link out of your post. I am an admin at sodpit and we do not want that site posted anywhere besides the IRC. I don't mean to be rude at all but don't post without permission . If it was posted anywhere else then the person has gotten permission from sgt-d to post it.

Also by the way everyone, I have seen some people saying you have to rename ROMs to update.zip before installing. THAT IS NOT TRUE, with clockwork mod recovery you can name it whatever you want and it will flash. Just wanted to clearify that for everyone.

borgey401

sorry for posting the links. i didn't know about the permission part. i guess i jumped the gun in trying to help out.

no offense taken and i didn't think you were being rude.

thanks, btw, for keeping us all up-to-date with the rooting/reflashing process.

Maybe it would be best if you started another thread with an easy set of directions for people.

Do you know if I'd have any trouble getting a cyanogen mod working on the Dinc?

hey borgey can you drive over to johnston and root my phone for me or can i bring my laptop (and other goodies :) ) over your house and you can root my phone there :p

this is kind of painful actually. My phone is rebooting, program stops responding or changing.. i start over and keep going and going.. Took less time to root the damn thing.. i don't have HTC Sync on my PC, i'm using windows 7, I set the phone on airplane mode so i don't recieve txts or emails to interupt it... WTF is going on?

I couldn't get root until I got the 4gig class 4 kingston then it only took an hour of trying.

told ya that card works like a dream right? don't feel badd tho i tried for a 4 days NON STOP and I MEAN NON STOP with stupid sandisk cards (about 5 of them) and finally went out and got this card once we figured out that different sd cards make phont boot up differently and it worked GREAT! So far me personally have rooted 14 people with my kingston sd card. glad to hear you got it tho buddy congrats
