I would love to be a tester and/or see this rom released. It looks really nice, and I think I'd love the new Market.
With the release of the CDMA Hero Kernel today, can we expect this rom to take off now? Or does it not have anything to do with this?? Sorry don't know much about all the programming stuff...
The kernel should show what kind of hacks they had to use to get 1.5 working on CDMA networks as well as any hardware drivers built into the kernel. As long as they really are built-in, and the guys over at XDA believe them to be, someone smarter than I am should be able to use those along with their own customizations to get everything working.
That sounds like the most important post in this thread. Thanks. If nobody else reports anything on this, I'll load the ROM up later and try it myself.anyone with the SMS sent issue... i noticed that i WOULDNT be able to send when i have a "1" prepending my number.
so if i texted some one @ 1 555 555 5555, it woudnt work, but 555 555 5555 would work fine. can anyone else test and confirm?
I also noticed i couldnt send if the text message was over 140 chars (more than 1 msg being sent)
I tried pushing the files GB said we needed to push (via ADB) using the command adb push /(file)/ /system/app/
It just says Error: Read-only access
Can you please tell me what's going on with that?
adb shell
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
exit
adb push *path to file* /system/app
Same way as above. Once you're shelled into the device you use standard Linux commands.Hi how do you install googlebits on a mac
hey gbhil made a post about your rom over at xda
any advancing on this? - xda-developers
hope its ok, just really trying to get the most support for this rom as possible. I just want 1.6 or above with the nexus one style so bad lol
theres no way somebody can get all the stuff that is needed on the rom and just upload it again so we dont have to do it over and over ?
Don't want to put Jeremy and company in that situation. Google is very picky about who can distribute their proprietary apps. What's posted here is 100% open source.
rafa, did you get itworking??
what doesnt work in what your using??
adb remount
adb shell
busybox --install /system/xbin
exit
adb reboot
