Data will return from a reboot or by entering the following from adb (as root)

echo -n 'up:0 ' > /dev/qmi0

then toggle settings>wireless controls>mobile networks>system select from automatic to home only and back again.

alright guys if you are having issues with data.... go to device tools, open up terminal emulator. type in su then hit enter, and type the code exactly as written above, when your done follow the other instructions.... fixed my data issues no problem

HeadPhone Issues

My headphones worked the first time I tried them, but after a reboot they haven't worked since. Any ideas?

One thing I've noticed with my headphone jack, if I turn my phone on with my headphone jack plugged in, it will not work until I pull the battery for 30 seconds and turn it back on with the jack out.

Anyone having a recent issue with text messages?
Been running 1.6 for a week or so now with no issues on texts.

I sent/received several fine this morning, but just tried sending one and the message failed. Tried several different numbers, rebooted, ran EVDO fix (irrevelvant for text, but oh well), airplane mode on/off), finally just reloaded from scratch gbhil's 1.6 rom. Still errors on sending.
I restored my nanbackup of 1.5 from htc, text works fine. Go back to 1.6, text doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Is anyone still checking this thread? If you are, could you please help?
DLed this ROM, flashed it as shown, worked great (except for Visual Voicemail, BlueTooth, and Speakerphone, of course), but when I tried to restore my Nandroid of 1.5, it gave me this:

Error: Run nandroid-mobile.sh via adb!

Edit: I tried this, and it wouldn't show any backups saved, regardless of how I tried typing the folder to find it in.

Now it won't let me restore either backup I have - the latest one I had made of the stock ROM or one I had made of this 1.6 ROM. I tried wiping, rebooting many times, wiping the Dalvik (although IDK why that would help), hard resetting, etc. but nothing lets me run the restores. Interestingly enough, a new backup I just made of 1.6 seems to work.

I did rename the folders I had the 2 old backups in for clarity. The working backup I did not rename, and it still has the default BDS-000000-0000 (or something like that) name (where 0 is any number). Would this be having an effect? If so, what should I rename the folders to now?

Help would be much appreciated. Hope I'm not stuck posting in a dead thread, since last post was 20 days ago and there's a 2.1 dump out there now and everything. All I wanted 1.6 for was really to try out the NBA League Pass app. I love it, BTW.

Edit: I'm new here, as you can see, so if there's another forum where I should put my question and be more likely to find help, please suggest it to me.

EDIT: Just renamed the nandroid backup to the original format, guessed at the time and date, it restored, and I'm booting normally now! YAY!

Just BTW, I love the idea of Sense UI over this. Right now I'm using GDE, and it's somewhere in between stock Android and Sense in terms of awesomeness. I'd looooove if you could put in an addon pack that would let people choose Apps2SD if they want it. It would be my first shot at Apps2SD, which I was planning to try out after reverting from this ROM. Of course. if you read my last post, that's not happening anytime soon, unless someone actually checks this thread lol.

I also like the idea of making contacts Facebook linkable, etc. (all those HTC goodies!)

EDIT: I'd like to play around with this more, but now that my phone is restored, I'm gonna try out a 2.1 ROM or a 1.5 ROM with Apps2SD. I'll definitely download an addon if there is one, though.
