I get my Bonus on the 30th from work and I sold my Chromebook Pixel....so if no news I will buy the iPad Pro and keyboard.

I looked at an iPad Pro the other day in an Apple store. Very cool. Very expensive. Then I looked at the Surface Pro 4. It's too expensive too but at least it has Windows 10 and you could do real work on it. Not so sure about working on IOS. If I wasn't dying to get the Pixel I think I'd just order the Spectre X2 from HP. Full Windows in a Surface Pro clone at about 60% of the price.

But no. I'm going to hope ATG is right and the Pixel drops on the 2nd.

That's almost exactly where I stand. I don't want to spend over a grand on a couch/bed browser/travel companion. This would fit the bill perfectly, but I hate the silence on it. I'd like to just hear SOMETHING.

Deep discount on Nexus 9 this weekend ($200 off while supplies last). My wishful thinking interprets this to mean the Pixel C release is immenant. With lead times I can't see how any date after 12/2 could be considered "...available before the holidays..."

If it came out on the 24th, it would be available 'before the holidays'. They never said it would be *delivered* before the holidays...

Take this for what it is worth, one AC user to another, I know someone who has seen it. I am not going to share proof of this because it is not my place to do so, but it is someone I trust. That being said, I know literally nothing more than everyone here about the device and/or release timeline. Completely in the dark and I wish we could get an ETA or something.

There is a lot of chatter on twitter about December 8th being the launch date. Dutch sites reporting. You can use translate in chrome or twitter to read in English.
