I solved once for all only when I deleted my Google search update. Go to Google search app and delete , it will only delete the update ... problem solved !@

That happen to me after I installed a live wallpaper. Even though the wallpaper wasn't active at the time, it still prompted to pick a touchwiz screen after I hit the home button. The problem went away once I uninstalled the wallpaper. The way you know is go to Settings>More> Default Applications>Home. Once you click on HOME, there should only be two options (touchwiz home and touchwiz easy home). Anything else is probably causing a conflict in your phone prompting you to choose everytime you hit the home button.

ied all the advise on the web to fix this issue and I found the cure for mine.Heres how. I went to settings/more/default applications. When I did that there is a button says home default and touchwiz when I clicked it I noticed there was an app I downloaded (around same time it started) in the options with touchwiz. and also touchwiz was not selected as default. So I uninstalled errant app and clicked touchwiz as default and that solved it. Hope this works for you

I'm not sure which thread gave me the solution to this pesky issue occurring on my S4 Active with KitKat, but it worked! Go to Settings, Default Apps. There you should only see TouchWiz or some othet launcher that you installed. I found Animal Ring tones there! I deleted it. I restarted my phone. Then, I did a Google search. Then I hit the Home key. Yay! No more touchwiz prompts! Also, for future reference, someone suggested installing Launcher Switcher by Chinese developer to identify offending app.

So, in case anyone else has tried un-updating Google Search, switching from Easy Mode back to TouchWiz Home, clearing the cache to TouchWiz Home (which also clears all the hard work you've done to re-arranging all your icons the way you like them!), and even backing up and restoring your entire phone & OS (& somehow accidentally deleting all of your app data such as game progress, etc), and still having this bloody pop-up show up all the freakin time.... I finally found out what was glitching for me, and by extension, maybe some of you as well

What I noticed was that when I went to Settings -> General -> Default Applications -> Home, it wouldn't save the selection of TouchWiz Home! I could select it, but if I exited and re-entered, it was unselected again! It would save the selection of Easy Mode, but not TouchWiz Home. I also had an app called Crop Circles Up To Date which had a Home screen option as well (though I never tried it), so I figured I might as well try deleting that app and see what happens, et voila! All my problems solved Hope that helps someone out there....

I have a note 2 and just got the system update to kit kat and my phone tells me touch wiz has crashed. It says it everytime i restart my phone but it doesn't effect my home button. Should i disable it?

Out of all the non sense advice given on removing Touch Wiz Annoying pop up screen, yours actually worked. Everyone elses was a failure. I toggled back and forth between standard and the other option mode about 5 times than clicked standard mode and clicked applied, and it finally got rid of this annoying touch wiz once or always pop up screen. Thank you sir for the great advice

So I am looking through my Apps and decide to get back to the home menu. Now I have this message popping up.

What the heck is TouchWiz Easy Home and TouchWiz Home and why the heck am I even dealing with this?

I'm having I different issue with this app. My home screen, or whwhatever screen I was last on, will freeze up for a second. I've already cleared the touchwiz cashe, aND what not, but it still does this. Anyone know why, or how to fix this?

my name is alisha. i have a samsung galaxy s4 and touchwiz keep popping up and always and ones but always wouldn't let me have my wallpaper. my husband andre download odin root on the pc. I download on the play store system appe remover root you download first the app then odin root that gets rid of touchwiz permanent well touchwiz is this there download holo launcher that replace touchwiz. system appe remover root and holo launcher first befor you put odin i lost the home button andre had to download holo launcher dont do what I did touchwiz was always there i ark the phone shop thay got rid of it but touchwiz keep coming back every time you press the home touchwiz keep popping up

If I go to Settings / Device, there is NO Home Screen choice. It's just Easy Mode, which allows me no choices. If I click that it just shows the OFF as being activated. If I click that to ON, it then says "Easy mode will be applied to your home screens. So I hit cancel. But I'm STILL in Easy Mode. It's driving me CRAZY!!!
