I have had exactly the same problem the TouchWiz box pops up repeatedly even thought you have selected always numerous:( times before. It comes up randomly and I just cannot work out why. I have a Gallaxy S4 and it was fine until I updated the op system to KitKat and that's when the troubles started. It really does drive you made. Has anyone got a solution yet????

I've been having the same issue - usually happens when hitting the home button on my AT&T GS4. The problem happened under 4.2.2, and 4.3. It ALWAYS happened when hitting the Home button when leaving a Google search. Clearing defaults, cache, and setting the Always option never solved it. Removing the Google Search updates DID solve the problem - for now.

I did this to myself this morning and was freaking out at the repeated pop up message. I found a very easy fix for it. Go to SETTINGS, then DEVICE, select the Home Screen Mode option. I toggled between Easy Mode and Standard Mode. Voila'. My "Standard Mode" homescreen(s) are all back to normal and the TouchWiz message has disappeared. FYI, I am using a Galaxy S4 on VZW...

Thanks for posting this. This mostly worked for me. Unfortunately I lost all my customized settings

This happened as a result of me playing Deer Hunter 2014 and clicking to get some glu credits and I downloaded an app with japanese writing for 15 glu credits. Big mistake. It was this TouchWiz crap. Perhaps because I cleared the cache and data and force stopped it (before finding your post and making the change) I lost my settings? I don't know. I had never seen this before attempting to download the app. What a major pain in the asss. I now have to put all my screens back with icons and widgets and I don't really remember the exact order. God/damnit.

I am having the same problem! It is extremely annoying.
I just came back from the samsung Genious assistance center and they could not fix the problem.
Every update gets worse, I have a Galaxy S4 Active and that problem has no official solution.
Maybe we can just root the phone and remove that stupid TouchWiz Easy mode. That should solve the issue in a very stupid way, but the system would not have any other app to ask what to do the next time you pressed the home button.

I have a note 3 and I went into settings device and then selected easy mode and turned it on, however, I do not want it on. Then I went back into settings and turned it off. This made the annoying pop up go away, at least for now. I will update this post if it comes back.

Put it in Standard mode to get rid of Touch Wiz

To get rid of it go to, My device, then Home Screen Mode, click on Standard mode and apply... should work and if it doesn't, click easy and apply ... then do the Standard (APPLY)
IT SHOULD BE ON STANDARD !

I just want to thank you for your suggestion of uninstalling the update to Google Search. I am totally new to the android - this is my first post here. I have so much to learn!

Re: I unistalled google updates

i've uninstalled google search so that i don't get the updates, from my phone and also been on google play store and put in my review on this app and what keeps happening when pressing the home button!! perhaps others who are having the same problem should do the same, hope fully they might do something about it!!

Same here. My entire home screen is now changed and I can't get it back the way it was. I'm so angry I could scream! None of this advice is working for me! Please someone help!!!

YAY! I found the offending App. For me it was the SKYMILES app from Delta. Once I uninstalled that, my problems went away.

BTW, Its true that removing Google Search would have solved it but only because the problem occurs the first time I hit the home button after doing any Google search. But the truth is that it was the SKYMILES app that was causing the problem.

For you it might be a different app but if you want to troubleshoot it, this is what I did. To replicate the problem in the shortest way possible, I would just click on the Google search bar on my home screen, then I would immediately click Home. This would replicate the problem 100% of the time. Then I went though and uninstalled 5-10 apps at a time and then came back and did the same thing until eventually, it stopped doing it. Then I reinstalled the most recent 5-10 apps one at a time, testing in between, until it started up again. It nearly drove me nuts.

Hope that helps someone.
