Home screen functions only 9?

home screen functions; only 9?

so from what I can see so far I'm only able to access 9 functions form the home screen?
weather and 8 other icons?
forced app icon on home screen?

Hi, welcome to the forums! Could you elaborate a bit more? I'm not sure if I completely understand your problem. What do you mean by 9 functions?. Are you trying to add new shortcuts to your homescreens? To do that you need to open your app drawer, long press on any app there and drag it to your homescreen. In a similar way you can add widgets after long press on a blank spot in your screen.

In most Android launchers the apps are in your app drawer and you decide which shortcuts to add in your homescreens.

correct, I'm trying to add more apps to the home screen. I left an iPhone 6 with 24 one touch functions from the home page. my galaxy s5 has "apps" which I can't move, 8 others that I can move, and weather. seems very limited.
