Anyone looking to customize their homescreen easily, check out MyColorScreen. They have YouTube tutorials, and once you get the hang of it, the homescreens are easy to do without needing to watch tutorial videos...My current one.

Nothing too sophisticated but I like the minimal feel of it. With Nova launcher gestures and ZooperWidget hotspots, there's over 20 apps/shortcuts that can be launched from this homescreen.
