Homescreen Shortcuts

Newbie question, I swear I searched before posting! I created a homescreen shortcut for my bank's website. All is well, works fine. My question is: Is there any way to change the photo/icon on this shortcut? Right now it is just a half logo, zoomed in, crappy looking picture. I am hoping I can just replace the image with a nice snapshot of the bank logo. Thanks in advance!

one of the 3rd party launchers should do the trick, like launcher pro or launcher pro plus...

Thanks for the quick reply! With launcher pro, will I be stuck having ALL new icons, or do you know if I can just swap out the one shortcut?

with launcher pro plus you can swap out one shortcut and use either a lp+ icon or the default icon

yep! my bad - lpp+ icon or custom. i tend to use the default or lpp+... forgot that there was that custom option.

Spoke too soon, sorry. Installed launcher pro, I see how to change a lot of things, the dock icons, etc. But I can't seem to find away to change my other icons?

I use adw - long press on screen, custom shortcut, choose activity, then touch icon to change.

In launcher Pro long press on your screen, choose shortcuts, then applications, then choose the app you want a shortcut to and it will bring up the app icon and name. Tap on the icon to change to whatever icon you would like.

try better cut or desktop visualizer both of those apps will let you select an image to use to replace an apps default icon
