I just ran into the fc on profile, I think that's cause the odman file didn't deodex right. I got some things testing for that. Ill check out mms don't remember if I've got any yet. Thanks for the feed back.

im on honeywithfriend and i can receive mms, but i cant send. jaybird if you need a quick fix try Handcent or Chomp from the market.

^^thanks dudes...I did try Handcent/Chomp and still couldn't receive...but on a positive note, I am digging the Handcent layout quite a bit more than the stock messaging app, I'm gonna have to stick with it!

Is anyone having force close issues when receiving phone calls? I noticed it only happens when my BT is connected.

Yeah after a few minutes of having it plugged into the pc it flashes to the htc screen then goes through the whole bootup process

just an update to my MMS problem...last night I had a friend of mine try to send me pics 4 or 5 times and then I even tried to send myself a few...as you know I didn't receive them last night...however, when I woke up today I had 7 new messages and they had all come through...so they did finally send/come through it just took quite a few hours for it to happen.

after running stock 1.5 for a week with handcent i uninstalled it and noticed that it slowed down the phone ALOT. so if you feel your phone is getting slower.... i havent tried it on 2.1 so i cant help you there. it does have alot of nice features tho

I'm having some issues with the browser/data connection. Everytime I leave the browser for a few minutes and come back the browser flashes the notification that my data setting is gone and starts from whatever page I started from (eg: I start on Facebook, end on CNN, leave browser for two minutes come back its on Facebook). I had the same issue with kool aid before.

Try using opera browser. It's much faster, and I have never had that problem.

alright guys, after a bit of research, I managed to solve my own problems...someone had the same PRL/profile problem with the fresh rom so I glanced at that thread on a whim...the solution was the OMADM file (which you can download here if anyone needs it). Anyways, I just pushed that to /system/app/ and now the profile/PRL updates work fine and I can also send/receive MMS (as of right now at least!)...anyways, hope this can help someone out! PEACE!

I installed "IcedHoneyBun-v1-Lite-Is deodexed" yesterday, plus the over clock kernel and have it over clocked to 710. It is great! Finally a worthy upgrade from the old leak option 3. Everything is super smooth and fast. Totally different phone from what I bought originally.

I have 1 problem though. When I get a call through my google voice number there is no dial pad. It is a big problem because when you answer it says "Press 1 to take a call from ..." So I can't actually answer any google voice calls. The dial pad comes up normally when the caller dials my cell number directly. Any thoughts? I need to get it working because get all my work call on that number.

Are you using a gvoice app? If so what version number is it?

I would say the fc on calls is because of oc you might have to try the other version of oc i put up.You also might need older version of gvoice.

Tell'em to run the v.1 or lite and the widgets work,just not friend version.lol I work with it everyday it's a never ending war,if i get the widgets to work then friendstream won't. Im still plugin away at it.Would of been a lot easier if htc/sprint would of just put it in there for us.Ill keep trying hopefully something good soon.

if the fc on calls keeps happening try using the one in post 49 of the link. Ill have to check out gvoice somemore not sure which version runs best on the hero i think 2.0 does best. I always forget to dl the app, I only use it for calls and for that you don't need the app.
