I think its time for people who say its unstable to tell us what, I use Amazon VOD than I will get ADD and look at other stuff and have multiple tabs open and never have any instability problems.
God it gets tiring seeing people keep complaining about no LTE or SD card support yet and that's why they are returning their Xoom. You knew from the start it would not have those features enabled before you bought it, so stop using it as an excuse for returning. If you didn't like it fine, if you had buyers remorse or just want to wait until one of the other many devices come out that's fine as well. But returning something because it lacked a feature you knew it didn't have yet and wouldn't have for at least 90 days says more about you than the device itself.
That said I am still loving my Xoom. Use it daily to read, browse the web, and play the occassional game. it would be nice if Comcast/Xfinity would get a working app out for Honeycomb and gingebread, but other than that I am happy with it.

You guys always talking bad about the zoom but you must love it cuz you still hang around the forms like stalkers. And let's not forget its honeycomb that is the problem the transformer will have the same problems so please stop stalking your ex tablets go to your new tablets forum I cry about honeycomb the grass is not always greener on the other side
Thank you and totally agree!! I love my Xoom and have no complaints. To be honest I'm just amazed at how people buy something knowing what they're getting and then jump ship... then again perhaps they didn't have a clue.
Flawed reasoning.Still love Honeycomb, and am actually still using my Xoom until I return/exchange it on Tuesday. Honeycomb will never be able give...
yada, yada, yada
... we all bought one and know it was a great first go, and Motor will probably improve upon it in the future, but choice is a good thing. Its what avery fabdroid runs around screaming to defend the Android OSm but now its a bad thing when someone wants a different choice in hardware?
Sorry, can't have it both ways. Choice is good, if you enjoy the Xoom great, no one is asking you to read posts about us having and making a choice. We do howevee post here to get feedback from other members that have used the Xoom in helping decide if the move to any number ofther HC tablets suits our needs better.
Flawed reasoning.
If you bought a XOOM and it doesn't cut it for you, there is no reason "to get feedback from other members that have used the XOOM", other than to make the rest of us listen to your diatribe.
We have three XOOMs in our home. All work flawlessly and we are all happy.
If a significantly better tablet comes along, we will switch and I'll show up on a different section of this forum and leave this one behind. It's that simple. I have no emotional need to leave a steaming pile of dung behind me for the people who do not share my values.

Many Xoom users including myself converted from the original I pad as the Xoom is the first HC based tablet and wanted to give HC a try. After seeing the potential in the OS, some of have been using IPS displays and basically well built hardware that no, I didn't expect Motorola to include an AC charger hat looks and feels like an afterthought. The volume rocker should also not be sunken in far enough it takes anything more than a light push to get the button to actually work.
I'm happy for those with no issues with these things, but again, the fact HC is coming out on so many tablets I'm not going to settle for the first one knowing (IMO) better hardware is less than a week away. It still runs HCm just like when I upgrade my PC.. same Windows 7, just improved my hardware. Not really out of the ordinary, tech progresses, I usually am an early adopter and give it it a go. If better faster more useful comes along, I move on. Simple as that.
This is like people on a gaming PC forum talking about the custom built PCs they build running Win 7, no one cares what brand ram, or CPU, gpu etc.., sure some will say they prefer brand xyz, but the focus is on the OS and performance it brings each user. If Android users here act like were buying I pads lol, seriously get it over it, you tell us to stop talking bad about the Xoom like you personally built the damn thing. None of them are going to be perfect, and this type of discussion will go on and on week after week with all the new tablets coming out.
I'd suggest you grow some thicker skin because this is only the beginning.

why is it tiring? It's perfectly reasonable to expect these things to be working out of the box.
I can well understand anyone venting about it. Fortunately, I don't need the extra space or speed for my usage so I'm happy enough. But I do feel for those that want what they paid for now.

My skin is just fine... I'm not the one coming to the Xoom user forum crying like a lil school girl after returning the Xoom looking to others for comfort in the decision... those might be the people that need thicker skin.
Might be a generational thing, but I'm still amazed at how many people buy something and end up returning it. Guess that's their right as it relates to a retailer's return policy. Just comes off to me as those people that buy clothing, leave the price tag on and then return after wearing.
I personally do my "test driving" in the store, other research online and then make an educated purchase. IMO making a purchase and then "test driving" only to end up returning is taking advantage.
Flame suit on...
