My only wish is that the trolls who want to talk bad about the Xoom would leave (or die in a fire) so we don't have to keep hearing about how bad the Xoom is. I love mine, and all the badmouthing in the world isn't going to change my mind. People who buy things they can't afford then return them really get under my skin. That behavior only increases the price of products for those of us who actually keep the things we buy. Keep your Xoom or return it that's your perogative. Just stop telling us about it. If you return it, then you have no business in this forum.

Exactly, if you didn't like it then by all means return it, get something else, and hang out in that forum.
Personally I did a lot of due research before I bought my Xoom. I spent a considerably amout of time in stores (VZW and Best Buy) with the display models and talking to sales reps (the ones in BB were completely worthless), reading online, watching videos and giving due consideration to what was coming and yes what was working on the Xoom and what would be enabled later. Ultimately I bought the Xoom because:
1. I genuinely like the device, the build quality is awesome, the screen well above average, and the thing is blazing fast. I initially had not wanted a tablet with a screen size this big but it has grown on me and I disagree that it is too heavy. I actually feel that the iPad is too light, I feel like I am going to slip and either drop the thing or send it flying. It also feels fragile in my hand compared to the Xoom.
2. I like the idea of buying the device that software developers are developing and testing the apps on because it it is more likely that apps will work on it sooner than the other devices and I also like that it is running a stock version of Honeycomb not one that is themed and not Froyo (or Gingerbread) which are not designed for Tablets. I REALLY REALLY like the HTC Flier but it is running FROYO!
3. Looking at what was coming there are really only two deices that interest me in the slightest. The HTC Flier -- which as I just said does not run Honeycomb (yet) -- and the Blackberry Playbook. The PB is very compelling and like the Xoom it is a new product, but unlike Honeycomb, which is a new expanded version of an older OS, the OS on the Playbook is completely new. Without beating a dead horse the PB has too many CORE features of the phone that are either not available at launch (email) or require a Blackberry (BBM, push email, calendar) which require it to be bridged to a Blackberry. When the 2.0 hardware comes out later this year or early next which does not have these limitations the PB will be a very compelling device but until then I cant see myself getting one.
All that being said I am not too proud to return the thing if I decided that it did not suit my needs but the fact is nothing could be further from the truth. I use my Xoom more than my laptop now and find myself using it more and more, especially for things like reading which is tedious on a laptop for any length of time. This weekend I am going to a church conference and I usually take a laptop so I can get online and read digital documents (save a few trees) and this year I am bringing my Xoon which is lighter, more convenient, and uses less energy.
For me the Xoom is one of the best purchases I have made all year and I dont have a second of buyers remorse.
