This seems to be a nice case, as some people say they like the Terrapins. It does not seem to be available in the US. Possible Amazon Canada, but not sure they ship to US (where I would use a reshipper to send to Japan). Oh wait, I think one of the reshipper gives you a Canadian address.

Picks up fingerprints quite quickly.
Very small lip round the edges, so would definitely need a screen protector in combination. (comes with thin plastic film one)

Does that case have the texture dots on the part that covers the back? Every "clear" case I've seen had those dots which makes it not completely clear.

Hadn't noticed them, but it does appear to have dots but there's no texture to them and they're virtually invisible.

The clear cheap case that BH Photo packaged with the Honor 8 is the perfect little case. It's slim and provides enough grip.

Picked up this 10400mah powerpack on Amazon for £15.99
2 full charges in and still more than half left in the pack. The way it's going I'd say 4 full charges before its done which will put it closer to 12000mah than 10400

That's pretty impressive. Battery packs usually run around 70% efficiency so 10.4k would charge about 7.3k

I had originally bought an iVoler TPU case, but there wasn't a lip on the edge, and it is a little flimsy, so I'm worried about its strength to protect from a fall.

I'm still waiting for a decent screen protector that does cover the whole screen, instead of leaving a little bit uncovered.

You're unlikely to get a screen protector to cover the whole screen because of the 2.5d glass.

Guess it depends on your needs... I never had to clean out a port so the charging cable will fit... But if that happened to me frequently then i can see how a plug could be convenient

Hey all, just bought this phone so have some questions for the crowd. First, how do you feel about those cases that cover the corners but not the sides or top and bottom of the phone? Got a crazy Black Friday deal at Newegg that came with a million extras, including on official Honor case that is corners only. Not sure if it is worth using.

Second, have read strongly differing opinions on the screen. I've seen it described as robust and scratch prone. I've never used a screen protector on my phones before, but I don't want to scratch up the display. I know the tempered glass ones don't fit well on this phone--any recs for a PET one instead? Or can I skip altogether?

Lastly, if anyone has any interest in Doctor Strange comics or a DS case that came with my purchase, I'd be happy to send it your way if you pay for shipping!
