Honor Launch on Dec 5th.

I owned the huawei media pad 3 for a while and loved that tablet but it lacked celluar so o got rid of it. Now I'm trying to locate a decent one that is celluar too. Not many options for celluar other than the iPad which are quite expensive. I might be forced to go back with a WiFi only buy I like to be able to take my tablet with me when I go places so I can access the internet if need be.

XFINITY doesn't offer tablets.

There are a number of tablets offered by the carriers for around $200ish, but most require a commitment.

Yeah I'd like to get one that I could use with cricket unlocked and just put a cheap plan on it. I'll probably just get a larger screen phone and not get another tablet unless I am able to get an iPad. To me the iPad is probably the best tablet out there out of all the brands. They are hard to beat but very expensive though. Even just the wifi iPads are high dollar.

Why not use your phone's hot-spot and just have extra data on your phone contract. Gives you a wider choice of tablets to choose from.

You did mentioned you are in wifi 90%ish of the time. With that then you'll be set within a wifi tablet.

Yrue but I when I leave the house i like to take my tablet with me like to my girlfriend's house or just out in general. I like having that option. I may end up getting wifi though and if I do I'll get another Huawei media pad 3. It was such an awesome tablet. I used it quite a while.

Cricket doesn't have a hot spot for the honor 8 yet. I've been waiting on them to add the phone to their list of phones that provide hot spots plus when you are on the unlimited plan you don't have the option for a hot spot. They cut you off to only one device on the unlimited plan. Maybe if I get the iPhone through Xfinity mobile then I can start using my hot spot again.

$250 for an iPad 2017 is reasonable, imo. And it gets to that price on sale. That's the wifi model though.

I mean a good current year android tablet without a commitment is going to be much cheaper. Of course you can buy older tablets but the time is ticking with regards to updates... But you can also get older iPads which would usually have support longer

You should definitely check into what XFINITY is offering before committing

I like the idea of having a tablet with data too. I had one before. But I never took my tablet out and used any data so I got rid of that. Wifi model suits me since it's always in my house.

I'd you end up with a wifi model, I think you'll be fine since you're nearly always on wifi

Yeah if I'm going to get another tablet it would be an iPad but I'd want it on a celluar plan so I can access the internet anywhere I take it. In the past that has worked out much better than when I had just a WiFi tablet. I personally think the iPad is by far the most superior tablet on the market. I've yet to use anything that comes near it. Their celluar tablets are high though so most times they require to purchased on a monthly payment plan which if I go with Xfinity mobile they don't offer any tablets. I don't want to really even go back to a major carrier but I might have to do that I can get an iPad on a low cost monthly plan. Probably I would get the iPad pro which I've not owned the latest model iPad pro before. That's probably what I'd go for which is 10.5 inches or I'd go for the pro that's 9.7 inches which I've owned before. Both are good iPads and honestly I'd probably just get the 9.7 as it's plenty enough power and all I need as I would mainly use it for media maybe work but I doubt it.

That's cause it's smaller carrier. Bigger carrier like atnt tmobile and Verizon offers hotspot with their unlimited plans
I used to have unlimited data AND unlimited hotspot on my old grandfathered unlimited data plan.

Go with the 12.9! Go big or go home!
