How can I keep my phone silent?

I just got a Fascinate, and I love it so far. One annoyance is that when I put it in to "Silent" mode, it is easily switched out of it if I accidentally touch the volume toggle. I have found my phone ringing when I thought it was in silent mode because I hit the volume keys as I loved the phone?

Is there any way to disable to physical volume toggle some way or force it to stay in the mode (ring, silent or vibrate) which I put it in?

A silicone case will make it require a little more pressure to trigger the volume keys.
