How can I make notifications both create sound and vibrate instead of one or the other?

I just recently started using a custom notification tone, but because I have some apps that alert me very frequently the noise is played very often. I've since disabled sound on a few apps, but they don't vibrate to compensate for it. If anyone has a solution where I can have certain apps only vibrate even with sound on, or find a solution where I can have both sound and vibration simultaneously, that would be greatly appreciated.
