How can I recover my phone that is stuck in a bootloop after phone freeze (N5)?

n5 stuck in bootloop after phone freeze

I'd just update d phone to lollipop few weeks ago. Ever since then, my phone became very slow n freeze very often. Sometimes it will automatically turned off on its own.

This morning, when I was reading mail n updating some apps, it freezes.

So I went fastboot n try to wipe cache. But it keeps failed to mount cache... Err... Ok.
So try turned it off n leave it for a while. After bout 10mins, I try turn it back on, it stuck on d bootloop screen for an hour.

Anyone help??
Is it factory reset is d only option I have??

Maybe not even that. Bring it to your carrier and ask them if they could please reflash the update, since it seems that the over the air update didn't work exactly right. (The Google method of updating Android - on any phone - is more primitive than update technology we had in 1988. If the update fails, the phone fails.)

I bought d n5 from Google play store. So I can't have them flash it for me.
So in the end, I factory reset it n currently is working fine. But dunno way will happen in d future
