How do I delete an app?

Hi
I somehow allowed some stupid push notifications on my phone and now my phone has slowed down alittle.
I believe I have found the culprit app, but I can't delete it. I just can disable it, but my phone seems to still be very slow.
I now have 2 apps called "Chrome" under settings ->apps. The second app has an "dual app" icon in the chrome icon (hope you understood that) . I just wanna delete that second chrome app.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Does the dual app designation mean that you're able to have two instances of Chrome with different accounts? If the device came with Chrome, you won't be able to uninstall it. Are the push notifications coming from a website through the Chrome app?

It's a samsung note 8. Chrome is not listed under dual app. But I think I managed to delete it. Went to Chrome-> settings -> notifications, and then just "clear & reset" that spesific page. It is no longer listed. And the phone seems smooth again

Maybe it was a progressive web app that you added to the homescreen, although I'm not sure if those show up in Settings>Apps.
